Binary Translator is a focused, free tool for one job: turning binary code into readable text and text into binary, as fast as you can paste it. It runs in your browser, works on a phone, and puts the Copy button on the first screen.
What the tool does
On the Binary Translator, paste a string of 0s and 1s and the text appears immediately. Type ordinary words and it switches to text to binary. The Text to Binary page adds separator and 7-bit options, the Binary Alphabet lists every letter, digit and common symbol as a byte, and How to Read Binary explains the method with a practice box.
How decoding works
Binary is split into 8-bit bytes and read as UTF-8, the same encoding websites use. That covers English, accented letters, other scripts and emoji. Groups of seven bits are read as 7-bit ASCII. Inputs with 0b prefixes, commas, bars or no spaces at all are accepted.
When the input has a mistake
Hand-typed binary often has a missing digit or an extra space. Instead of quietly producing the wrong text, the translator tells you what it did and where the problem is: it regroups digits when spacing is off and says so, flags a 7-bit group hiding among 8-bit ones, and highlights the exact position of any character that is not a 0 or 1.
